Block Printing Scarves

In this hands-on class, you'll learn the fundamentals of block printing. You'll have the opportunity to bring your own design to class or use a pre-made template provided by the instructor. Students will master basic transfer techniques and carve their own block to create a unique "stamp." Throughout the class, you'll use a variety of tools essential for block printing, including carving tools, brayers and barens. You'll use textile safe inks to print your design onto a scarf that, once dry, you'll be able to wear and even wash!
